I've previously seen at least six different acupuncturists through the years. Trust me when I say Melissa is absolutely amazing! She's detailed, passionate, knowledgeable, skillful, intuitive, thorough, and extremely responsive. She explains what's going on and compassionately co-creates a good treatment plan for the issues(s) at hand. She then tackles the treatment plan using multiple healing perspectives and is very good at what she does. Melissa has successfully, and quickly, helped heal my lower back issue as well as a sympathetic nervous system issue. I am so grateful she was recommended to me and I cannot recommend her enough to others. Make the appointment. You won't be disappointed.

I have been to many different acupuncture practitioners over the years…. Melissa’s practice is something very special and unique. She provides a whole different level of service to her clients and I always leave her office feeling amazing. Mentally and physically. As a acupuncture novice and a scientist, I was apprehensive about my first acupuncture session, but Melisa walked me through the methodology and I had a productive session. It is obvious she knows her stuff and I will be back for another session. I also had a Thai massage with Veronica who is amazing. She is so knowledgeable about muscle anatomy and works miracles on your sore spots. She is a true healer. I have been treated by her multiple times at her previous venue, but made the trek to El Cajon to be seen by one of the best.

UPDATE 3/16/23
I hurt my back riding my horse, and woke up one day struggling to move, I could barely go from sitting to standing. The pain was so bad I had a hard time breathing. It got better with some movement, but it didn't improve with NSAIDs so I suspected it was a muscle strain. I had no idea what to do, so I made an appointment with Melissa. She evaluated me, and narrowed down the area that was affected. Then she went to work, using acupuncture, TENS, cupping and body work. 90 minutes later I got off the table and was able to walk out of there feeling 75% better. I woke up today moving freely. Melissa - thank you for the life changing work you do!

I love, love, love Melissa and all she has to offer. She takes her time getting to know you, your body, and what unique issues you might be experiencing. She's made a tremendous difference in the headaches I was having, using a holistic approach that included treating areas of my body that I didn't think were relevant, but I now know that EVERYTHING is connected. I feel so much better since I've started seeing her. I also enjoy the other services such as the sound healing events. Thank you Melissa for all that you do!

OMG this place is Amazing. Melissa beholds the magical powers of Acupuncture. My wife suffers from severe migraines. After a session, she is back to normal. When my wife was pregnant with our last child and the little dude wouldn’t come out. Melissa once again used her awesome understanding of the body and her trade and within 30 min after the end of the session our little guy was on his way.
She is our #1 go to in San Diego.
