I had my complimentary consultation this morning with Dr. Leonhardt, whose knowledge and experience in the medical field not just in Metabolic, is impressive to me. I've been to a few metabolic physicians and centers in Tampa Bay. This morning's 15 minute consultation taught me MORE than any of them. The blood work is done in the office. My official first appointment will be in a few days, at which point we'll discuss in detail the lab results and my treatment, which will be tailored to my needs. No, they don't treat you like a statistic nor a number. The staff couldn't be more polite and thorough. I am excited to get started.

The world truly needs more doctors like Dr. Leonhardt and Dr. Bangtson. I cannot thank them enough for the countless hours of time spent helping me get healthier.
I honestly don’t want to think about where I would be today without their quality of care and invaluable knowledge.

I was seen here for a few months for issues that still have not been resolved. I was seen by Bangtson and per my emailed treatment plan, have a course of action. A request was sent for a blood result and I was told I would receive a call once those results returned.

I did not receive a call until I followed up myself two weeks later. I was then told Bangtson would call with further action once she returned from vacation. Two weeks went by and she did not call. I followed up again nearly 10 days later and was told they would be in touch, 10 days have passed since my last call to them.

Apparently I am no longer being seen by this doctor. This was not communicated to me, no reason for the stoppage of care was communicated to me, and I am still symptomatic.

This doctor took well over $1000 of my money, and can’t be bothered to call back and follow up on promises she made, or be professional enough to admit she doesn’t know the source of the problem.

Either outcome is a failure as both a person, and practitioner on her part. Not knowing an answer is one thing, avoiding your job at the expense of a patient is another thing entirely.

Don’t come here. Bangtson clearly has no respect or regard for her patients. Find a real doctor.

I can not say enough good things about Peaks of Health & their entire staff. I started coming here @ 5-6 years ago & it has literally changed my life!!! The Drs. & their staff are the BEST there are in all of Pinellas County. If you’re debating on this office or some other office? Choose this one. I promise, you won’t regret it….

I really hate to do this, but I had enough. I started visiting this medical center more than 2 years ago I already spent some money there. I just like to do the IV therapy they told me that I have to have a free consultación with doctor Tracy L. Then I asked if I could have some IV therapy while I wait for my appointment with the doctor. so I had to make an appointment but I had to pay I don’t remember how much $100 or $200 in advance before my appointment with doctor Tracy. The cost was $500 but I canceled that appointment because some of my patients told me don’t go there I paid more than $5000 and I still feeling the same Health issues. So I cancelled the appointment and I continued going there just to do IV therapy. Then the IV guy told me that I have to have a consultation with a nurse if I’m not, he can’t do any IV therapy anymore. so that I understood that’s the way it is and I respect that. so I did I paid $300 for 15 minutes that nurse was not very nice she looked like she didn’t want to take care of me but that, was ok for me I really don’t care about that. I know I told them what IV therapy I wanted to have because I have some knowledge about IV therapy. So I don’t think they like it the IV she wanted me to do cost $245 I said no, because I wanted something else. The point here is that, most of them are rude even the cashiers are like that no nice staff. so the woman Alicia yesterday were rude to me, she were focused to other 2 clients she had there I called her because I had a question and she from the distance was so aggressive saw me like what do you want? And then when finally she went back to me I said to her, today you’re very aggressive and she said yes I know!!!
You know what lady? you have no right to treat your customers like that, have a little respect for the people who go there to spend time and money! You were so mean to me. And you are not the only clinic who do that kind of treatment.
And I really don’t care anymore it’s my first time I do a bad review now I understand why people do bad reviews.

We initially visited Peaks of Health Metabolic Medical Center because of my husband's digestive issues. Dr. Tracie Leonhardt is amazing; her knowledge is incredible. I started getting my hormones checked, and they were found to be super low. Now that we have been receiving treatment for some time, we both feel great, and our results are excellent! Although we still have a few issues to deal with, we are confident that we will soon be better than before. Dr. Leonhardt takes the time to thoroughly address our problems and devise a personalized plan. Healing holistically takes time, but when you are achieving such positive results, it is definitely worth it.

I’ve been going to peaks of health for 3 years now. I specifically see Dr. Bangston and I believe she’s a great doctor whose extremely knowledgeable. Three years ago I was so sick I was barely able to function. Once I started seeing Dr. Bangston I slowly but surely started feeling better and better. I’ve felt sick for almost 10 years now so I know it’s going to take time to heal all my issues but I’ve seen and felt the results so I know I’m healing. I also have become my own doctor of my body and have done tons of research on everything I have going on. Every time I’m with Dr. bangston everything she says and educates me on lines right up to what I’ve been learning myself. Ive recommend Peaks of health to so many people. Of course its not cheap to see a holistic doctor bc its not accepted my insurance but my health and longevity of life is worth it to me!
