Powerhouse Gym is a RWC institution! The best gym in town, hands down. The size is perfect, super clean, ready and easily accessible by all. There’s a great mix of machines, classes, and all the trainers (especially my trainer, Andrew, who also manages the gym) are off the charts AWESOME. What I love most about it is the community and working out with such an amazingly supportive staff, as well as the other super friendly and respectful gym members. It makes every work out special. I’m always happy when I’m there and I never regret rolling out of bed and going! And they are dog friendly too!!. 5 stars all the way!

I've been a member of Powerhouse Gym for a long time going back to the old building. This is an excellent gym and a very friendly place to be. It is kept up much better than any other gym I have seen. The staff is helpful and Rob, the owner, is very approachable and interested in any feedback or ideas you have to make it a better place. Unlike many other gyms Rob is at Powerhouse almost every day and uses the equipment and works out with the members. This lets him see first hand what is going on with the equipment and the facilities. Other gyms are sometimes run by absentee owners who really don't know what is going on at their gym. I highly recommend Powerhouse.

I’ve been a member of Powerhouse for over 2 years now, and have had a great gym experience. They have friendly staff, who made everyone feel welcome. They’re always willing to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide tips to help you reach your fitness goals. It’s clear that they truly care about the members and their well-being.

They also have all the equipment you could ever need. Whether you're into strength training, cardio, or flexibility. They have a wide variety of machines, free weights, and resistance equipment, all well-maintained (I've seen the maintenance checks performed all the time) and clean. The gym is spacious/not overcrowded, and there's always something available when I need it (I typically go at lunch).

I've recently started taking the Yoga class at Powerhouse and the instructor Jenn is great! I've never done Yoga before but have been really enjoying it. Her teaching style is clear, supportive, and tailored to all levels, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and challenged. Jenn combines expert guidance with mindfulness, creating a calm, welcoming environment in every class. She offers thoughtful adjustments and makes complex poses accessible, helping you progress at your own pace. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or simply relax, Jenn is the perfect guide for your yoga journey!

I have been a member of powerhouse gym since the 1990s. It has always been a gym for everyone, but especially for people who are serious about health and fitness. When they moved from their old location and upgraded their equipment they transitioned from old school gear to a modern and great facility. Helpful staff, trainers available, great hours. You can meet friendly people or get your time easily on first rate equipment. Strongly recommend.

I have been thoroughly enjoying my workouts at the Powerhouse Gym Elite with Jennifer (Jenn) as my personal trainer and highly recommend her to anyone interested in personal training!

I started training with Jenn for about two months ago after discovering her through her fantastic yoga classes. Once I learned she also offered personal training, I signed up for a trial session and have been loving the sessions ever since. As someone new to personal training, I feel significantly stronger both physically and mentally. I was initially apprehensive about personal training due to previous back surgery, as I found other trial personal training sessions to be quite intense and potentially risky for injury. However, I also wanted to incorporate more than just yoga into my exercise routine to build a stronger core and develop more muscle.

Jenn tailors each session to focus on my specific needs. Given my history of back issues, I requested to incorporate some yoga into each session, which has been incredibly helpful in easing into the weight training. I no longer experience back pain, and my core has come much stronger, and I am now lifting significantly heavier weights than when I started.

Outside of our sessions, Jenn offers tremendous support as well - she regularly checks in, sends encouraging messages, and provides valuable resources via email, including nutrition tips, at-home workout recommendations, and tracking exercises in previous sessions etc.

Jenn is an amazing coach and trainer, radiating loving and vibrant energy. I have made much progress toward my goals thanks to her consistent support and guidance. I'm very thankful to have her as my trainer and highly recommend her not only for personal training but also for her yoga classes and private yoga sessions!

I’ve been a member at Powerhouse Gym for quite a while now, and honestly, it’s one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. Right from the start, the staff has been super friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The trainers are amazing—always approachable and really know their stuff. They genuinely care about helping you hit your goals. Even ROB the owner goes out of their way to connect with members, which gives the whole place a positive, community feel.

The gym itself is always clean and organized, with plenty of equipment to meet everyone’s needs. My one hope is that someday Powerhouse will go 24/7—it’d make it so much easier to fit in a workout at any hour. Overall, I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a motivating, supportive gym!
