With hectic travel schedules and busy social life, my husband and I were beginning to realize that we don’t look the same as we did in pictures a year back and our clothes fit us differently. We are only thirty something years old and the choice we had to make was simple – To get back in shape! The problem was that like all new year resolutions, which are made with the right intent and never kept, we were not able to commit to our plan. My husband then searched for several personal fitness trainers and finally short listed a few. Taber Maier stood a cut above everyone with his credentials, approach of being available 24*7 and in general, had the level of fitness one would like to aspire towards.

In the first meeting itself, everything that Taber discussed with us made practical sense. There was no talks about strange diets or ridiculous hours of training. He even stopped us from joining a gym. He explained to us that his plan is to make “fitness a lifestyle and not work” and “eating healthy fun and not a punishment”. Although my husband and I have different fitness goals, we train together with Taber and he is always quick to correct our weights or form. We’ve had sessions in park, home and private studios. He has also continued to mentor me while I am on the road through videos and regular chats. Besides guiding us on eating healthy, he has also taught us not to feel guilty about indulging on our cheat days. His training style is friendly, yet assertive and his sessions constantly push us to push our limits.

Over a period of time these sessions have been a huge stress buster for us. We are on our way towards achieving our fitness goals and cannot thank Taber and PMB for helping us embed the learnings in our lifestyle.

The buck stops right here... After evaluating over ten fitness professionals around South Bay, I decided to choose Taber Maier at Premier Mind & Body for a few simple reasons.. 1. Train with a professional sportsman, 2. Train with someone who has thrice the passion that we have for ourselves, 3. Train with an expert who knows what works for us (each individual is unique and needs a custom diet and fitness regime), 4. Train with one who we aspire to be fit like, and 5. Train with someone who's steering you 24x7 in the right direction.. and oh boy! was I right at all counts 😀

One would assume the highlight of my fitness journey with Premier Mind & Body has been a loss of 20lbs plus in under 2 months, fat out.. muscles in.. that in reality is just a positive side effect.. The focus on a sustainable lifestyle and "The Premier Mind" is amazing.. it's the true differentiator.. there are a million workout videos out there, there are a million diets and fads out there.. Premier Mind & Body experts cut through the rubble and easily turn on the 'beast mode' in us.. for us to achieve a true state of zen and fitness.. the cravings die.. the energy levels peak.. the body glides and the mind soars.. Get fit, get addicted, get going 😀
