Prime Strength is a powerlifter’s dream cave, with the equipment needed to get seriously strong. It has 24/7 access. You point your phone at the QR code on the front door, fill out the online forms, pay the (reasonable) fee, and get a digital code to enter. It is a small space, and it is heavily focused on powerlifting, with a bit of strongman equipment. But it has what hardcore lifters need. Would definitely go back. (Written November 2024.)

Whenever I go away on vacation I try to find a local, independent gym to support. I was thrilled to find prime strength in Sarasota. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Nate who was incredibly friendly and helpful.

This is a true power lifters gym with all the right equipment to get a great workout in. Great music, squat racks, platforms and friendly clientele. Kettlebells, sleds, specialty bars and other fun stuff to stay strong. Highly recommended checking them out if you visit Sarasota.

Nate runs an awesome gym. I bought a day pass online and it was the perfect setup for a lift during vacation. Tons of fun equipment that spans from strongman to powerlifting to bodybuilding. Nate is incredibly welcoming and the space is kept very tidy and clean. I'll be back!!!

Best gym there is. Nate is best trainer, he puts in so much effort to each client and works very hard. He even dedicates his time outside to help you with your goals. His gym is always clean and he makes you feel extremely welcomed when you're there.

Stopped in twice during my week-long vacation. Nate was super responsive via text. I completed a waiver on my phone, and was set up to meet him the following day to show me around. He was very welcoming and has cultivated a great space. Reasonable day rate. I recommend!

Great gym has everything you need and Nate makes you feel like part of the family. 24/7 access great rates for day or week passes if your in town for a short amount of time. It is my gym when I’m in town. Thanks Nate and keep up the great work!

Perfect gym if you are in the area. Strength focussed with an array of plates and bars, plenty of squat racks & dead lift areas. Open 24/7 for members with reasonable monthly rates if you are around for a while. Definitely recommend.
