I attended the Prairie Herbalist Retreat in this beautiful place hosted by this wonderful family and I cannot recommend enough. Rachel is a gifted, wise teacher and she teaches you through introduction to the plants on her land! I can't recommend more highly.

The quaint little classroom, rustic original barns, herb tea served, bonfire at events, passionate commitment by Rachel to learn and teach others about the wealth of nutrition and medicine right at our feet. It changed my friend Natalie and I forever. We closely examine the path on which we walk for hidden natural plants we could use. Red Road Herbs is open by appointment most days. You can call and schedule private garden tours, nature walks, wild crafting walks with Rachel. It is a lovely place to rent for events. There is an outdoor modern bathroom which adorable.
