I visited while in from out of town. While I very much appreciate locally owned gyms over national chains, I'm not sure I'd come back or pay for this one again. It's rough. 1/3rd of everything is broken or inoperable... bathroom stalls, water fountains, treadmills, leg press, paper towel dispensers, toilet paper, no hot water in any sink, and today... no air conditioning. Equipment is average at best and dumbbells are mismatched and not put away in the correct location. Wires hanging from the ceiling and gym is in general disrepair. I can't speak to the monthly cost of membership, but it had better be cheap based on the product they offer.

I was a loyal member at Rock Fitness for over two years—even when equipment constantly broke, wore down, or took forever to get repaired. I stuck around because I respected the original values of the gym. When they hung up the newest version of the gay pride flag, I spoke up. I didn’t join for that. I joined because of the giant American flag, the wall of veterans, and the pride in our country—not to see the gym conform to the woke agenda. To their credit, they listened, took the pride flag down, and leaned back into honoring American pride. I respected that—and that’s why I stayed, despite all the broken machines and maintenance issues.

Then I moved 40 minutes away, but I still supported the gym and decided to come back for a lift on a day pass. But I was turned away at the door because I had gym slides on. That made no sense to me. I trained there in Crocs every single day for two years—Crocs full of holes in the toes, offering zero real protection. I’d slide them off and lift in socks, barefoot, every day—and nobody ever had a problem with it.

So now it’s supposedly about “safety.” But what’s the actual difference between slides and Crocs with holes? And if I drop a heavy weight on my foot, that’s on me, not the gym. I’m fully aware my footwear offers no protection, and I accept that risk.

After two years of loyalty—putting up with broken equipment, standing by their values, and showing up every day—it honestly felt like a slap in the face to be turned away like that. Wish them well.

Moved to West Palm from Connecticut and was looking for a new gym when I decided on Rock Fitness Center. Membership I'm paying for is $35.99/month with 1 guest privilege; membership is contract-free. Fitness staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Has a variety of equipment to get my workouts done, members are friendly as well and will let you work in with them if need be. Would recommend

Ripped off by this place. Do not pay for training in advance, no matter how hard they make it on you. They encourage you to pay via Zelle in blocks of $360. Don't do it.

Otherwise, it's an okay cheap grimy gym, though equipment has been progressively falling apart. Staff aside from my complaint has been great.

I came over and started training with Jeff. Jeff would show up late, spend minutes at a time talking to people during our training sessions, spend time on his phone, and stop the session early. He canceled a few sessions and billed me anyway, so I started tracking my sessions on a spreadsheet.

Jeff had me move sessions several times do to scheduling issues. Finally, I couldn't move them due to work, and I have $240 left on my account.

I contacted Joel to refund me that money, and he said it's not possible. Gym membership canceled, so long.

Nice gym session I had here while on vacation in the area. Lots of equipment and machines. Everything was well maintained and clean.

Great gym! Alot and equipment, and I never waited for anything. The staff is always happy to help with a spot!
Some machines were out of service for a but now fixed.
The only issue is that most people never wipe down the equipment. So I was doing it before and after.

Awesome GYM!! Just what the area needed. A place where serious lifters and casual gym rats can co-exist. The machines/equiptment is always clean and the all of the members are all very friendly. Training staff really help me jump start my life change. High energy with a great atmosphere.

I’ve been going to Rock Fitness for about a year now, and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for in a gym. It’s never too crowded, and the machines are always available during my workouts. The front desk staff is incredibly helpful and always greet you by name, making you feel welcomed and seen.

I’ve also taken advantage of their personal trainer service, which has been fantastic! The trainers keep in touch and follow up regularly, ensuring you stay on track with your fitness goals.
