I operate an assisted living in Green Valley, AZ. Laura advertised that our community was hiring a Zumba instructor without consulting with us. I start getting calls asking for more information on the position. The position that we were not hiring for. I report her to Zumba for fraudulent activities.
She then ends up providing services to our community through a third party. She hires a Zumba instructor and then after a month tells the instructor that she is too expensive. She also makes comments about how chair Zumba isn't beneficial for our memory care residents, who absolutely LOVE chair Zumba. She also tells us that since a Medicare advantage plan is paying her for this service, we can only let those plan members participate when we were originally told that she contracts with several plans and everyone could join. Of course I am not going to ask our activity staff to keep residents not on the plan in their rooms while the others enjoy the instructor.
This company is just another way that people Scam that Medicare system. Would not recommend.
