A family member recommended this alternative medicine store/clinic to me and I came in for a consultation to see the herbalist doctor. He felt my pulse, looked at my tongue and asked me what my symptoms were. Then he prescribed an herbal formula and instructed me to boil the herbs and drink like tea. After I drank the herbal tea and after a week, I felt my symptoms improve. I recommend anyone who is interested in traditional Chinese medicine to look into this store/clinic and do a consultation with Dr. Shen.

I have been with Dr. Shen for 10 years. I had multiple health problems. Doctors wanted to cut out some of my organs because they got deformed and only Dr. Shen with his care got me through without anything being removed! 10 years! I am still in 1 peace. If you got to know him- it means angels are watching after you. He is amazing, after his acupuncture - I can walk ( I have sciatica nerve damage and not super excited to be on steroids). He is one of a kind with his level of expertise and kindness- you can’t find another one like him! Many blessings to you Dr. Shen!

Dr. Shen and TC Herbs are the BEST!

Kept getting bronchitis after long Covid in 2020. My PCP would prescribe antibiotics, steroids, benzonate, cough syrup with narcotics and nasal sprays etc. all didn’t work.
One diagnosis with Dr. Shen and his herbal tea concoction, all my symptoms are gone after a day of boiling and drinking his tea.
Not kidding… tea tastes awful but I put honey and chug it. I’d rather drink this than have western meds that are ineffective.
Price is about $9 or $10 a bag of tea and you have to factor in consultation cost. Money well spent

Absolutely amazing doctor, he is so kind caring and his herbal medicines are like magic! I don’t know if it was the herbal tea or acupuncture but I conceived naturally and had 2 perfect health 10 (hospitals give a score on your baby’s health at birth) babies at age over 40 (I never used any birth control and was married 6 years without any luck getting pregnant). I will be forever grateful for the most precious gifts, to be a mother and to have such healthy wonderful children. There is nothing more important in my life of course and Dr Shen’s tea tasted horrible LOL but it worked! Please go see Dr Shen before doing anything else. Just go for whatever it is, a headache, a cough, menopause, depression, anything just go see him before you put any chemical drugs, or invasive treatments, surgery… just try.

This is my first time to Dr. Shen's clinic, I've never been to any Chinese herbal nutrient centers in U.S because I don't know how effective they are. Until I read reviews on ChineseinLA and DealMoon blog reviews, I decided to give it a try. The clinic is very clean and welcoming, there are a few uniformed nurses helping with clients and Dr. Shen to give consultation and treatment. This place is very homelike since I usually go to Chinese herbal nutrient centers in China, so I can easily tell if I like the clinic or not. Dr. Shen is patient and kind, he doesn't give you suggestions until you tell him what you needed. When he does, they are helpful ones. I have a 7-day nutrient tea to help my stomach bloating, I look forward to see the result.

This place Has helped me out tremendously, I have never written a review of any other business in my life but my experience here has compelled me to do so. I have never used this type of services before so I am not aware if it is "pricey" "expensive" or "fairly priced" what I do know is that after years of suffering from insomnia and trying this that and the other, I now sleep soundly through the night and wake up feeling great each and every morning!
The entire staff has treated me professionally, respectfully and Dr. Chen has been great.
