I had such a great experience here! They have an incredible selection of bulk medicinal herbs, as well as tea blends, tinctures, mushrooms, plus a million other cool things that would make great gifts. I really came in strictly for function, to find things that could help with some health issues, but it’s a wonderful store for folks just dipping their toes into herbalism and herb-adjacent things, too. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I recently moved to Austin and have been searching for the perfect herb spot, and I found it!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. This establishment, and everyone working here, is truly top-notch in every way—professional, inclusive, and genuinely friendly.

It’s one thing to offer high-quality products in a cool, inviting space, but it’s another to see a unified team that truly cares about creating an exceptional experience for their customers.

They do get busy quickly, so I had to wait for a bit, but they immediately attended to me as soon as they were available.

The herbalist is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly understand my symptoms before thoughtfully recommending the right herbs.

You just don't see that level of attentiveness these days.

Update: They've responded to my review and if they truly cared that I was uncomfortable and want all customers to have a good experience, then why are there multiple reviews of people who also felt discriminated against? Even as far back as 6 years ago. That doesn’t sound like a business that cares to me.

I visited this establishment in the fall of last year and got a weird vibe but thought maybe I had imagined it. I went there again recently and had the same subpar experience. Both of the workers I interacted with were not friendly at all. The person who was helping with the herbs was super friendly and chatty with the person in front of me and even walked them to the register. However, with me, she barely acknowledged me and walked away from me when I was trying to tell her what I needed. The cashier wasn’t much better. Now that I see previous reviews I realize I was not imagining it and this place is definitely discriminating against people of color. I’m sure they couldn’t care less about my experience because their business is still getting lots of other customers but I needed to leave a review to warn other people of color. There are plenty of other places for herbs and such that would be glad to have your business. This just isn’t one of them. P.S. any generic response they leave on my review doesn’t change my experience and what actually happened. In my opinion, they are 100% a discriminatory establishment.

The best place to go for all-natural remedies! The prices are fair and the employees are kind and knowledgeable. They also have a lovely selection of premixed teas, tea pots and incense.

Glad to have this in Austin. Prices are a bit high, but still a nice place that's been around for a long time
