How often can you say you went to a healthcare provider for a chronic complaint and 4 months later it was resolved? This is exactly what happened when I took my 11-year-old daughter to Dr. Reena Sharma for severe acid reflux. We had tried chiropractic with some results, but my daughter was still suffering. I knew that if I ignored her complaints, the acid would cause more serious issues down the road. I also knew that if I took her to the MD, that they would only be able to offer Prevacid or something similar. When I looked it up, I saw those medications can increase the risk of stomach cancer by 11 times. No thank you! I am so happy that I listened to my mother's intuition and gave homeopathy a try for this ailment. We are currently getting my 12 months old baby getting homeopathic treatment from Dr. Reena for his severe eczema, food allergies and food sensitivities. Cannot say it’s healed his eczema bc we have just started the treatment 2 months ago but we are definitely seeing some results. Our 11 year old son has experienced seasonal allergies in the Fall and Spring for several years. He experienced itchy throat, stuffy nose, and a very bad cough. This would lead to him taking Zyrtec and Benadryl daily and being prescribed Albuterol and sometimes even antibiotics. None of it really helped. Last year, we decided to explore alternative medicine to treat his cough-variant asthma and found Dr. Reena Sharma. Right away, we saw improvement in his health. Now a year later, his immunity has improved and while he does get sick on occasion, the symptoms are much more manageable and he recovers quickly. We are now seeing her for his Pityriasis Alba (white spots on skin) and are hoping homeopathy can remove them.

In addition, I was also experiencing perimenopause (no period for several months) in my early 40s as well as being recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. I started seeing Dr. Reena Sharma earlier this year because I wanted to get off the prescribed allopathic medicine, I was gaining weight and feeling more tired. After a few months, I can say that my period is now more regular (every 1-2 months) and I am no longer showing signs of hyperthyroidism and off all allopathic medicines.

The only negative I can say is that we never know how much time it will take to see results for a given disease and the out of pocket fees do add up over time. It can also take Dr. Sharma sometime to respond back to questions via chat. However, Dr. Sharma is very nice to work with and very much cares about improving the health of her patients and is passionate about homeopathy.

Dr Reena is one of the best homeopaths in the Bay Area. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and having antibiotics was the only course of action. The issue was that it was not resolving the root cause and only helped alleviate the symptoms.
I turned to Dr Reena for an alternative and it has been a total turn around now. For the last 9 months till date there has been no recurrence! While it was more of a mental adjustment to switch from allopathy to homeopathy ( note that I have had no homeopathy meds prior to this) it was worthwhile. Treating your body with zero- harm meds , no side effects is the right way to a healthier self.
