While in town on a cruise, we stopped in to find some local themed fabric for quilting. My wife found several types she liked. There is also a good selection of yarn.

The perfect shop for traveling crafters! I came across this store during an excursion, and decided to take this as a sign to do a last-minute project. They had everything I needed to start from scratch and I was so happy to see that everything was reasonably priced — particularly the clover hooks. I was intrigued with the unique brands of yarn the store had, but was also pleased to find the brands I’m more familiar with as well, like Red Heart and Caron. The woman who helped me was incredibly kind and helpful as well!

Excellent shop. Has more craft items than fabric but I still found some authentic Alaskan fabric designed by an Alaskan native. Prices were a bit higher than I pay at home in the lower 48.

A wonderful quilt store in the downtown area of Sitka. The young lady working in the store was very friendly and I found some unique fabrics (ex: batik ravens in trees, sone lovely organic fabrics that were designed by a local artist) and a small selection of notions to pickup a couple of items I’d forgotten. My trip souvenirs are typically fabrics so this was a wonderful stop for our cruise port visit.

Great little craft and art supplies store. Had knitting, quilting, painting, beading, and other supplies. While I was there, two local artists stopped in the purchase supplies (one carrying her canvas in progress) and then walked next door where one had art for sale.

Sitka was in desperate need of a craft store. This fills that void. The owners have expanded their inventory and carry a variety of stuff. Staff is always super helpful and kind. So happy this little business is around!
