I visited OWA at the recent Christmas tree lighting and stopped into the Spice and Tea Shop on Saturday 11/23/24. (not my first time ) I had just asked the cashier the price of a "glass honey dipper", she
replied $6.99. As I turned toward the check out counter, to make the purchase, I accidentally dropped the glass on the floor and of course it broke. Needless to say, I was embarrassed, but was told I had to pay for it @ $7.83 including tax. I do not feel I should not have had to pay, as the store will re-coup the cost from the supplier. Besides requiring me to pay, the cashier was rude as though I had thrown the item across the room. Really too bad because it is a sweet little shop that I feel I cannot visit again.

Really cool place. I love the wooden decor. Wall to wall full of different herbs, salts, peppers, spices, and teas. They have premixed spices on display. They have little recipe cards. They have tea brewing supplies. There's a little cafe that can make you tea and sometimes have samples of the concoction of the day. My husband enjoys the different flavor teas. I purchased some of the seasonings and they tasted delicious in my meals. Bold flavor. Highly recommend this place to just explore you'll be surprise and delighted by what you try.

A massive selection of in-house ground spices, whole spices, flavored salts and peppers, with a wide selection of teas. You can get the tea brewed on site (hot OR cold) or buy it to take home. A small assortment of accessories such as mortar and pesltes, tea infusers, kettles and the like. A nice looking store with a helpful staff, too.

I got a hot oolong tea with sugar to go and it was some of the best I've had, far better than what you'll find at the local coffee shops!

If there's one bad thing, it's that because it's in OWA it's "tourist prices" which means sky high. But since I don't know of any other spice or tea shops in this part of Baldwin County, it's worth the walk to downtown OWA to sample some of these concoctions.

This was my second trip to the store. Love the helpfulness of the staff. The tea and spice selection is not overwhelming. The flavored sugars to pair with the tea was a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

A cute little spice shop! I found a spice there that I had been looking for at other shops with little success. They also have a great variety of tea! I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're at OWA.

Loved this little tea shop! After smelling multiple teas and choosing a caffeinated tea, I chose the mint-chilla chai-nilla tea, sweetened with honey, and it was AMAZING! Will be back for more tea for sure!
