I am so grateful for the team at Training Loft. I came in highly intimidated by anything strength training related and my own body struggles. I cried my first session, ha! and now I have completed 19 sessions / 2 months in. I'll get back to you in a year about how much my body transforms (already down 2% body fat and 5 lb muscle increase) but this has been more internally healing. They remove much of the barrier to entry by making the sessions 30 minutes and holding you accountable with scheduling. The included Physical Therapy aspect makes the experience feel much more health-related than aesthetic, which I need. All the trainers are very very good. Have fun.

Training Loft is a fantastic place for small group/semi-private personal training! I've been a fan of this format for a while, and the coaches here (Jimmy, Francis, Aristotle, James, & Maisy) are all exceptional. They are great programmers where they push you but they listen to what YOU want your workout to be, and take that into account when designing your program. They also keep you accountable and make sure you're doing the movement properly. Plus the workouts are 30min, which really tackles a lot in a short amount of time. Originally 30min kicked my butt because I have zero cardio endurance, but 5+ months later I am crushing my workouts!
Stephen & Wayne, the owners, are lovely and welcoming. They run a tight ship, but are so incredibly nice. The facilities are extremely clean and you can tell everyone here takes a lot of pride in this gym.
They have a PT on staff, Garrett, who is such a great added resource. I thankfully don't have any major injuries or pains I have to work around, but the general aches & stiffness I have, Garrett has really helped me work through. Plus things Garrett may see as deficiencies to work on during PT, the trainers downstairs can incorporate into your workout.
The Training Loft truly approaches fitness as a full 360 approach. They really are a fantastic team as well as some of the nicest fellow members.

If you're looking for a gym that truly delivers on its promises, then look no further than The Training Loft. I've been training here for a year now, and I can honestly say that it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made for my health and fitness.

From the moment I stepped through the doors, I knew that this was a gym that took its mission seriously. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming, and they go out of their way to make sure that everyone who walks in feels comfortable and supported.

But what really sets The Training Loft apart is its unique approach to training. Rather than simply focusing on weight lifting or cardio, this gym offers a well-rounded program that includes a mix of weight training, athletic training, and nutrition. And let me tell you, it really works. The Semi-private training is exactly what I needed.

After just one year of training at The Training Loft, I've seen massive improvements in my strength, mobility, mental health, and mood. I've gained 14 pounds, and I'm only coming for 9 sessions a month and working out for 30 minutes at a time. That's how effective this program is.

I have to give a special shoutout to trainers Jimmy and Francis for being so great. They're both incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and motivating, and they really go above and beyond to make sure that every client is getting the most out of their workouts. Shoutout to Garrett for pushing my mobility and really helping me see improvement each time I see him.

Overall, I can't recommend The Training Loft enough. If you're serious about getting in shape and improving your health and fitness, then this is the gym for you. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

1 month into my membership at this boutique private training facility on Melrose. My experience has been 5* from the moment i walked in. Friendly, professional, well-organized and welcoming.
No matter what your fitness level (mine is at 'Sloth' but slowly improving) their methodology is a good fit for all. If you're a time-poor professional like me, the focused high intensity 30 min workouts are a great option.
All of the trainers are genuinely great to work out with and push you just hard to enough to ensure progress without wanting to quit... though you may occasionally want to curse at them!
Wayne and Stephen, the owners, run a really tight ship, the facility is always meticulously clean and their custom app makes it incredibly easy to book workouts.
They also have physical therapist available to help with rehab, mobility and functional wellness. Garrett is incredibly knowledgeable and his treatments are already helping my broken 50 year-old body to improve and heal!
Really can't rate this place highly enough - if you're looking for a friendly, inclusive and professional place to start or continue your fitness journey, this is for you.

The trainers here are super knowledgeable. I’ve noticed a difference in my athleticism in just 4 weeks and I intend to keep coming back. As a semi-professional athlete, my goals aren’t easy to meet, but the trainers here have created a custom workout plan and helped me improve my technique within each movement. I have been training with Garrett twice a week for almost a year now. I play in a semi professional sport that puts a lot of demand on my body. Leading up to the start of my season, Garrett planned a 22 week workout schedule which has elevated my baseline strength and power to perform at my best. I am the most in shape and prepared than I have ever been before. My recovery time has also immensely improved my so I feel 100 percent to play on day two of a tournament. He has also helped me recover through two injuries with specific exercises and manual therapy. Look no further if you want a trainer to help you get the results you want.
