I do not buy herbs and spices anywhere else. Everything I've ever bought here has been top quality and the staff are super nice. The prices are fantastic and I love being able to buy as much or as little as I need. Seriously, I had no idea that upgrading staples like salt, pepper, cinnamon and paprika could elevate a dish so much! If there's only one thing you walk away with, let it be the cocoa powder. It's INCREDIBLE; so much cheaper than buying a brand name at the box stores and you'll never be able to use anything else.

Nicole and her stand Urban Herbs are the main reason we drive an hour to the west side market. She is great at recommending seasonings and oils for whatever I am making. First time I went, i couldn’t decide what smoked salts I wanted and she gave me a little bit of each to try.
Black truffle is my favorite ingredient to work with and after telling her that. She got more from her vendor for when I came back. Even though it was over a month later, she remember. She is very passionate about what she does and the quality of items at her stand.
Overall - 110% - A1 - 10/10 - 5 Stars - Go see what she has to offer!

Tells you one price but charges you a different price. Was told $5.50 on 3 different occasions but checked my credit card statement because she never brings back a recipe, and was charged $6.75. Last time I checked that’s a crime.

I live in NYC tristate area now. I can get almost anything I want or need with very good quality. However I grew up in CLE and I'm coming to see friends for the holidays. I'm making a stop to stock up. The quality and variety they offer is superb. I can't make the things I like without her spices. I go to my pantry jars and they are all empty- then I get sad and homesick and realize I can't go home without going here!! Thank you for being the bomb!

I have been shopping with Urban Herbs since I lived in OH with my father and family. Most still living have moved to Florida but I still dial up Urban Herbs when I have a slice I need to have as fresh as can be and sustainably cultivated. They are knowledgeable, friendly and always happy to ship me my spice packages (my family sends their infinite thanks!). They are the only spice vendor I have found who still carries some herbs that groceries no longer supply because they are in older recipes. A big thanks from my family to yours!!

Perhaps the best steak seasoning anywhere. I also buy rice and beans here along with the occasional exotic salt.
I highly recommend.
