Today I bought two air freshening sprays: one Christmas tree scented and one for sleeping better. I love both scents! I brought a couple of friends and they loved the URBANherbal shop. We walked away with bags of soaps and scents! The shop also has art and greeting cards. A good place to buy a cooking or skincare or home care item for a hard-to-buy-for Christmas person.

Urban Herbal has arrived in the city! After years of visiting Urbanherbal in Fredericksburg, I was thrilled by the new Monte Vista location in San Antonio. It’s a compact version of an old favorite. Stepping into the cozy, wood-paneled shop, that herby aroma welcomes me right in. Custom scent-blends are a specialty and colognes, body lotions and bath gels, and air fresheners, along with essential oils themselves, and herby cooking items like herb-flavored vinegars make a shopping trip here a real treat for the senses. And that’s actually a theme of the shop philosophy - the senses.
On this visit I stocked up on air fresheners, and chatted with Bill. The Botanist’s Bungalow - a B&B tucked in back - is just so cute and comfy looking too. That’s not surprising, the shop, the historic Monte Vista home it’s located in and the gardens are all a joy! If you haven’t been yet, go!

Wonderful shop and owner in Monte Vista! The neighborhood is lucky to have this deliciously smelling and tasting store just a walk away! The owner Bill is very knowledgeable on Texas horticulture and the culinary arts as well as many body and household products that are handmade by him and very divine! We look forward to visiting again soon.

I have sensitive skin and have used high-quality natural skincare products for years. I was delighted to find Urban Herbal's oatmeal complexion soap. It's a must-have. It cleanses without stripping natural oils and leaves my skin soft and clear. I recently ordered several bars after visiting the store and gardens a few months back and they arrived quickly. One of my favorite places to visit in Fredericksburg! Stroll the gardens, greenhouse, art galleries, and my favorite, the shop! Handmade bath products, perfumes, salts and vinegars for cooking! Highly recommend his salt blends, violets, and bath & body travel kits!

Discovering Urbanherbal was the highlight of our trip to Fredericksburg!...We enjoyed it so much, we visited there 3 times!! It's a plant nursery, an art gallery and a 'laboratory' where the owner mixed up some shampoo with the essential oils of my choice! Be sure to visit this hidden gem if you are ever in the area!

I will drive 5 hours not only to buy his products but to spend some time with the owner! Such a good spirit and very very knowledgeable. His products are unique and just awesome! He made my first cologne and i need to go buy it, will be heading there soon ,
