I am a retired Doctor of Chiropractic in private practice 35 years in Riverside, CA. I retired 8 1/2 years ago to Calexico, CA. It was difficult trying to find a competent, caring, professional Doctor of Chiropractic in Imperial County. I hit the lottery when I found Dr. Matthew Valusek in El Centro. CA He is a superb chiropractic practitioner. Since I am a Vietnam era veteran, the VA pays for all my chiropractic treatment. To be approved by the Veterans Administration to treat its veterans, you have to be an exceptional Doctor of Chiropractic. If someone were to ask me to rate Dr. Valusek on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the highest rating, I would have to rate him a 15. Hands down, the best Doctor of Chiropractic in Imperial County.

I waited a couple of weeks before writing this review. This Doctor is by far better than the Indian dude I seen out here in the Valley years ago. I recently moved back to the valley and decided to try Dr. Valusek. He fix my issue in one session, he pretty much fixed what the San Diego Doctors couldn’t do. I have been going here for awhile. Dr. Valusek and his staff are about as good as it gets. The Dr. takes his time and pays attention to you as a person. His staff(Joe and Kathy) are very good at what they do. They are fun to talk to too. Very very kind group of people. I would recommend Dr. Valusek if you need help with your back. Dr. Valusek is the man.
I’ve injured my back 10+ times throughout my life, all ranging from moderate to severe.
Within 1-2 sessions I already felt a significant increase in mobility and flexibility in the danger zone. After my 3rd and 4th sessions the strength in my back substantially grew. By my 5th and 6th visit I was ecstatic and relieved to give Dr Valusek an outstanding review.
From his front desk to his furthest room, everything emanates his 15+ years experience.
I highly recommend seeing Dr. Valusek as soon as possible. He is very very flexible when it comes to available insurances (call or visit to see if your insurance covers you) and even takes cash or card payments.
Shoutout to Joe and his fellow front desk for being extremely understanding, calm, respectful and overall bright and uplifting.
The Dr. and or his front desk introduce me to my room, offer me a heated lamp and then the Doc offers a routine stretch and pop. From there I am offered a stimulating treatment that proves to be very effective.
You NEED to follow your recommended stretches and exercises to see improvement. They even offer an online account to view everything you need to know about the mentioned remedies.
Dr Valusek is very calm, polite, respectful, profesional and attentive to detail when it comes to questions or concerns.
Take his advice!
The location has a masseuse available at certain hours in case you’re in need of that before or after your targeted visit.
I personally had a very bad injury to recover from but I definitely know that after a first visit you will definitely be feeling substantially better.
