I have been struggling with cholesterol since a while, and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Kimaya was recommended to me from someone who had already seen results from the personalised meal plans they had worked out together.
Kimaya is knowledgeable, patient, a good communicator, and takes her job of helping her patients seriously. She listed sources for all her advice so that I could also make educated choices. She answered all of my follow-up questions too. It was great talking to her.

I've always struggled with my nutritional habits due to my busy lifestyle with a job that has hectic hours plus being in school. On top of that, I struggle with thyroid concerns. Finding Kimaya two years ago was an absolute blessing!!
She portrays a high level of professionalism and sincerity and I instantly felt comfortable. It was also such a relief to find someone I could easily setup virtual appointments with to accommodate my crazy schedule. I cannot recommend this practice enough!
I went to Kimaya knowing I enjoyed some pretty unhealthy food and that being home during quarantine gave me a really good opportunity to reset my habits. Her virtual appointment system made it really easy for me to book some time in my weird schedule. What I appreciated the most was her no pressure approach to guiding me in the right direction with some simple, evidence-based steps to get started with. It helped me understand why she was suggesting what she was and why I should do those first. They felt laser-focused to what I needed. Those first few suggestions helped me really make them habits to build on and make more sustainable.

I came to Kimaya because I have high cholesterol and a family history of heart disease. I was already on cholesterol meds but I didn't want to have to take them all my life. Kimaya has helped me tweak my eating habits in incremental, but impactful ways that I feel are sustainable. I like that she takes into account without judgement my tastes and time constraints on preparing healthy food, as well as educating me on how to interpret my blood tests and meal nutritional properties, including dispelling some myths I had on some foods.
