I literally love this place so much!!!! I first started when I was very small and had a short brake and went back again and was a junior instructor for a couple of years till I had to quit for school, the environment is very cool and everyone is so understanding!!!! Mister truong was my instructor and he’s the best ever! Not only will he push u to better yourself but he’s also a great person to talk to when u feel low. All the instructor have a special place in my heart and I’m proud to say I was part of the El Cajon White dragon martial arts family❤️

My two boys have been attending White Dragon for just over a year now and we had no hesitation signing up for another year! Each and every instructor is great! They’re all very communicative and welcoming. My boys have learned many extremely beneficial skills and life lessons from them and are excited to be there everyday. I’ve seen a real difference in their behaviors and their confidence since starting too. I truly think this was the best thing for them!!
I love the membership options, it really makes it worth the money we spend there. Private 1 on 1 with an instructor AND unlimited group classes all week makes it so worth it.
I will ALWAYS highly recommend this school, they are hands on and very informative. They go above and beyond! White Dragon is like a second family for us now!

WDOEC is the real deal! This school has taught my family and I the real meaning of practicing martial arts. The instructors here are all very talented and knowledgeable. They focus on teaching us the practical application of our Kung fu, rather than just climbing rank. These instructors will be tough on you and your children, and that is how they teach us resilience. That being said, my family and I have made some of the most amazing and strongest friendships and bonds with fellow students and instructors. The kung fu lessons I have learned here have helped me in so many personal aspects of my life and have helped me achieve great personal growth. With all this seriousness, we also have a lot of fun and we sure do laugh a TON in group classes. You won’t find a better group of people anywhere!

Hello there! Finding the words to write a review on a school that has done so much for not only my self development but my kids is hard but here goes something.

A year and a half ago my 10 year old son showed interest in martial arts. It all started by watching “Cobra Kai” lol.

Well my husband and I work a lot so we told him to google somewhere and we’d give it a try. Both boys tried their first week of group classes and their free lesson with Mr. Truong.

2 weeks pass and I started to get curious. I have always had a passion for martial arts, I kicked boxed when I was younger so you can imagine my excitement when my sons showed interest.

My husband and I decided to sign the boys up AND myself, not only would it create a bonding experience, I would be able to work on myself discipline. I failed to mention that I deal with some mental health issues that I have worked through my whole life, but nothing like the strides I have made at white dragon.

I have learned to deal with emotions, how to further defend myself AND get the honor of watching my children’s growth as well as show them that no matter how hard things get, their mom still shows up and pushes through. I get to be an example to my children and enjoy seeing our similarities with our martial arts.

You know that saying “it takes a village? “ Well it’s true, we found our village and we can’t wait to watch it grow. Not only is white dragon a school for learning martial arts, but our Sifu provides camps that help our littles learn life and how to maneuver it.

All in all we are truly blessed to have found white dragon of east county. I cannot wait to continue to learn and grow and be apart of something as great as this.

Lastly life is about cultivating healthy relationship, that support our overall health and growth. Why not doing just that by being a badass to boot!

I have been attending this school since I was 16. I took some time off to go to college, start a career and a family. I decided to return I was welcomed back with open arms. My kids an I have very crazy schedules but one of the best thinks about this school is ALL the classes. There is sooo many and at different times. Another thing is the amazing instructors. I know a few people have already said how it is like having a second family.....but it truly is. I have returned now for I think 5 years? I also have to say it is not just the instructors that make it a family, it is all the wonderful student and there families that make up this fantastic community we have! We all yave been there for each other. We encourage and drive each other to grow and become better Martial Artist and people in our community that we live in.

The owner/Sifu and instructors, especially Mr Troung, are patient, enthusiastic, and focused. They provide structured and fun lessons - both group and private - even with kiddos who have disabilities! I’m happy to recommend White Dragon of East County.

The facility is clean and open and very structured. It’s exactly what we were looking for. What was really unexpected, but highly appreciated, is how every instructor was so patient with my six year old. They have all fostered a relationship with my child where they can teach and still have fun together. My child doesn’t even realize how much time has passed through the days spent at White Dragon. We look forward to every lesson and love being a part of it.

My co-parent and children attend classes here and they love it. What they have learned has helped them and improved their lives immeasurably. Both my daughter and co-parent won gold medals in their first tournament after only a few years of instruction. It has become a second family for them and I only ever hear and see great things about the instructors. I would recommend White Dragon East County to anyone, any age, looking to improve their lives, learn self defense or just looking for good people to be around.
