I've been taking my boys to see Dr. Song since they were babies and I love her approach to healthcare. She encourages the use of homeopathic medications and natural remedies when appropriate, which have been extremely effective if treatment begins early enough (e.g. colds, ear infection), but she is not opposed to writing a prescription if it's necessary. The supplements she recommends are of the highest quality and purity. I still remember the vitamin D drops we bought from her office were clear, not like the conventional vitamin D drops our first pediatrician had recommended at Kaiser that had a bunch of additives, including caramel color. But what really impressed me was when my oldest son got sick when we were traveling a few summers ago. I thought he had strep throat because of his symptoms and took him to urgent care - twice. They were only able to confirm it wasn't strep, but couldn't figure out what he had. I then called Dr. Song over the phone and she diagnosed it immediately as coxsackie virus (hand foot mouth disease), and this is just from me describing his symptoms. Sure enough, I then found one or two telltale blisters on the bottom of his feet, which hadn't been noticed by anyone, including my son. Anyway, I don't know if she is accepting new patients, but I give her my highest recommendation!
