I visited Whole Foods Market for the first time, and I was really impressed! The store is exceptionally clean, with great management and a huge parking space, which makes it very convenient. The variety of food here is amazing – so many options to choose from! You can find almost everything you need in one place. However, the prices are a bit on the higher side. Overall, I liked the experience and would definitely recommend it for quality products and a pleasant shopping environment.

This review is really for Amanda in the bakery department. I went this past week 10/3/24 to purchase a cake for my daughter's birthday. I usually love getting Whole Foods cake because it's delicious but also affordable. First when I come to the counter she barely even greeted me and the other woman of color. When she finally gets to me, I make the order and ask for a simple design. I just need pink and blue in some form on this cake. Nothing overly fancy. She proceeds to tell me, they are no longer doing custom cakes. Literally just stopped the week before. Now I understand if the design was crazy, I'm talking like flowers or swirls on this cake in pink and blue. I then ask well can someone write Happy Birthday in pink and blue. She then tells me they only have pink no blue to write. (The cake wasn't to be picked up for 3 days, they could not find blue icing in 3 days...). Finally, I place the order for the Berry Chantilly cake and she proceeds to tell me they don't have blueberries. So what do you have? And why are you open?

I go to pick up the cake Saturday and the sweet decorator brings me the cake. I make a comment to make sure there was no way they could decorate it. The decorator says she's sorry but that day was her last day and that's why there are no custom cakes. I proceed to jokingly say "All I wanted was flowers" and she looks at me apologetically and says, that was simple and could have been done and should have been requested. So my instinct was right Miss Amanda with the bad attitude not only has terrible customer service but didn't even want to try to hear me out about a simple design and just ask.

Whole Foods, do better or do away with the bakery department. Last year, the Whole Foods in Playa Vista gave me the worst decorated cake I've ever seen and this year you have workers who don't at least try to care about customer satisfaction. To the absolutely adorable cake decorator who was on her last day, I hope nothing but good comes your way. To Miss Amanda, your right where you belong. I mean personally you should not be in customer service but at least your at the bakery and not unleashed on the rest of the world.

*The breakfast at WF is not as good as before.

*I like they have a microwave to heat my muffins, and other food. Good dinning seating but with limited power outlets.
Some employees are are very rude complaining loudly against customers who enter the store last minute before closing for a quick grab.

Don’t order from the bakery here. I should have known to order elsewhere when the person that picked up when I called was very short with me and came off rude - didn’t seem like he wanted to help. Red flag.

I was told I could only put an order in for the berry chantilly cake online, so I did. I was also told, no personal message requests until pick up. I order this cake frequently and have always been pleased with the results. This was my first time ordering at this location.

It is now pick up day and the cake I received did not look like anything on the website. My husband picked it up for a potluck for our daughter’s school. On the website, the cake is simple and gorgeous. What we received looked amateur and nothing like what is expected. They added huge, uneven piping, and the fruits looked like they were just piled on. Not to mention, the personalized message… not any better, but sometimes that can’t be helped. Looks nothing like what I’m used to receiving from Whole Foods.

I’ve attached photos of what I received vs. what is shown on the website. I have blocked out some writing as it is private info. I hope it tastes better than it looks, because this will be served to children.

So, if you love this cake, as we know most of us do. Rethink your options before ordering from this bakery. I have called Whole Foods and Amazon customer service, and they were no help. I was transferred and was on about 4 different phone calls.

Visited this Whole Foods while on a personal vacation and it was okay. Hot food bar - I wanted more healthy chicken selections personally. They had one option but I circled the bars like two times to find a better option then the thighs I got. They were a bit fatty but not horrible. I did pickup a healthy cracker and snack bars. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. I do think they need to clean the sitting area more frequently because it was dirty. Overall, it was not bad but opportunities to improve in comparison to other Whole Foods around the country.
