Having had success in my personal coaching with Dawnette, I decided to use her services in my business as well.

On a personal level my relationship with my spouse improved because we were able to talk about money together. We no longer make decisions independently of each other. We have a spending and savings plan and any decisions that go outside of that plan, we are actually talking about it. This has helped us develop better financial strategies as a couple and it has improved our intimacy as we draw closer together and more trusting of one another. The psychological impact of working with Dawnette has helped our relationship grow as well as our savings!

I also began using Dawnette in my business. As a business owner I was unaware of many of the costs I needed to consider. She held me accountable to paying my taxes on time. She has also helped me develop strategies to help the business grow. For example, converting a salary position to a salary plus commission. I lowered the salary which protected the business long-term and instituted a commission structure that was realistic for my employee. This empowered my employee to take ownership of her job responsibilities and ultimately resulted in a higher level of service to our clients. It eliminated challenges that I did not even realize it would!

Dawnette also helped me understand when I should do a lunch and learn or a dinner event and identify the target audience based on goals. For example, a lunch and learn is better suited for potential clients while a dinner is better suited for business professionals who might be good referral partners. This has saved me thousands in wasted dollars, and hours of wasted time! Let's face it, time is money.

There are many aspects of working with Dawnette that have improved my understanding of how to manage my finances, helped me build strategies to grow my business, and overall the end result is the ripple effect this has had in my community.

Because I am not stressed about my finances, it has allowed me to be more focused on helping my clients, bringing in new business, and using my energy to grow both personally and professionally.

I never thought that working with a money coach would have so many facets to it and I will continue to work with Dawnette for the foreseeable future!
